Karen Marsha Geisler, born on February 15, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois passed away on August
8, 2025 after a long and bravely fought illness. She was preceded in death by her father, LeRoy
Landis Hester, her mother, Dora Hester, her brother Wayne Landis Hester, and her sister Dora
Lee Walters.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years Mickey T. Geisler and her children Don Wayne
Murray, Kathleen Ann Campese and Colleen Rose Carter along with her grandchildren Megan
Nowak, Connor Campese, Christopher Campese, Landon Murray, Carson Murray, and three
beautiful great grandchildren.

Karen will be remembered for her infectious sense of humor and her determination to live life as
best she could. Her love for animals would mean a house always filled with loving canine
companions. Horses were especially her joy whose spirits were as strong and free as her own.
But Karen's life was not without hardship. For much of the latter part of her life she endured
many illnesses, each one testing her strength in ways that most of us will never fully
understand. Yet through it she never lost her determination or sense of humor. Her strength is
something her children will always carry with them.

Services for Karen Geisler will be announced by the family at a later date
