Julie Lorraine Lopez, was born on August 2, 1970 in Houston, TX. She died on the day of the
Summer Solstice, the day of the most light and least darkness, on June 21, 2023. She was
preceded in death by her father, John Lopez, Jr, Grandparents Deacon Leopold and Rose
Moreno, Uncle Charles Moreno, and Aunt Ruth Moreno. She is survived by her mother, Stella
Moreno Lopez, brother, Jeff Lopez,(Marisa Nibert Lopez), and nephew, Zachary Lopez, along
with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Julie graduated from Cy-Fair High School class of
1988, she was a graduate of NHCC Community College earning a Texas State Board License in
Cosmetology. Our beloved Julie was a beautiful free Spirited individual. Her zest for life uniquely
touched the hearts of everyone she encountered. She leaves behind a multitude of stories filled
with love, laughter, dancing and many random acts of kindness. Julie embraced her Catholic
Faith as a Parishioner at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, where she volunteered in
Annual Festivals serving BBQ dinners, as well as the "Friends in Need" Committee donating
prepared food for funeral receptions. Julie's legacy will live on through her generosity of being a
Life Organ Donor. ~ We will miss you!
