Julie Mason DeMaria of Magnolia, Texas passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026 at age 69 at New Haven Memory Care in Tomball, Texas.

Julie was born February 13, 1957 in Mobile, Alabama, daughter of Robert and Helen (Abney) Mason of Fairhope, Alabama.

Julie's full life revolved around love for her children and grandchildren and her passion for dogs and horses.  She grew up on Mobile Bay in Fairhope and always treasured her childhood friends and experiences there.

Julie brought immense energies and passion to lifelong animal rescue activities and especially delighted in her later rural life with her horses nearby and summer 'G-Ma Camp' with her grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert (Butch) Mason and nephew Shane Mason.  She is survived by her loving husband Vic, children Emily DeMaria Nicola and Mark DeMaria, and her cherished grandsons Alex,  Leo, Marco and Victor, to whom she will always be G'Ma.

She is also survived by her brother Mitchell Mason, her sister-in-law Denny Mason, and daughter-in-law Nicole DeMaria and son-in-law Mark Nicola.

No memorial service is planned at this time.  Memorial contributions would be welcomed by animal rescue organizations in honor of Julie's long service.
