Judy Lee Clause, 56, of Tomball, Texas was a proud and beloved mother, sister, and friend to all. Surrounded by her children and family, Judy was peacefully called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 12, 2021, after an 11-month battle against Cancer. Judy was born to the late Carol Sue Lytsell and David Ray Dunbar in Portland, Oregon on March 29, 1965. At the age of 19 she moved to Houston, Texas to start the next chapter of her life, never ceasing to inspire those around her with strength and determination as she lived up to her favorite verse: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" – Philippians 4:13
Judy dedicated the next 37 years to building a beautiful life for her and her two children guided by God's word. Her children, Ian and Amber, meant more to her than the world, something she mentioned often and proudly. Her energy and passion for living life was infectious as she embraced every day with a positive outlook and a beautiful smile and laugh that will be missed dearly. Her career within the oil and gas industry led to many deeply cherished lifelong friendships from all over the globe, and in her off time you could find her with friends, decked out in proper attire rooting for her home teams; the Houston Texans, Houston Astros, and University of Houston Cougars.
Judy is survived by her son Ian Vincent Clause, daughter Amber Nicole Davila, brother Jerry A. Dunbar, sisters Sharon Sue Lytsell and Tarra Lynn Lytsell, as well as her fur babies Louie the Chihuahua and Lady the Cocker spaniel.
Judy, you touched everyone's hearts and will live on in us who love you dearly. We will miss you forever, Mom, and we will always remember the happiness you brought to all those around you. We love you more than anything and will hold you in our hearts until we're together again.
Judy's children will be hosting a celebration of her life on Saturday, December 18 th , 2021, 2:30 pm at Judy's favorite bar. They ask that any flower arrangements be sent there, or if you wish, in lieu of flowers you may donate to the children's Go Fund Me account.
