On Tuesday, December 22, 2020, Judith "Judy" Anne Ward-Bishop, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away in Spring, Texas at the age of 81. She is preceded in death by her parents Willard Nolan Ward and Elsie Velma Wales-Ward. Judy was born on May 26, 1939 in Pensacola, Florida. After moving to Texas, she met and married Elbert Ross Bishop on January 25, 1969. They have been devoted to each other for 51 years. Golf became her passion. She was a member of the Woodlands Ladies Golf Association and was credited with 3 "hole in ones".
Judy was known for her loving dedication to her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband; Ross Bishop, siblings: Alice Ward-Rawlings (& husband Don Rawlings) and Linda Ward-Brewer, Willard Nolan Ward Jr., her daughters; Lori Bryant-Lonero of Slidell, Louisiana and Karen Bryant-Miller (& husband Mark Miller) of Houston, granddaughter; Tara Remsburg-Gilliam, grandsons; Calvin Remsburg (& wife Aesha Remsburg) of Magnolia, James Cantone of Slidell, Louisiana and Andrew Hebert of Spring, Texas, great grandchildren; Kylee Ruiz, Olivia Ruiz and Sawyer Gilliam.
Visitation will be held at Klein Funeral Home 16131 Champion Forest Dr, Spring, TX 77379. Tuesday December 29, 2020 from 5 – 8 p.m. and funeral services at Klein Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.
As an expression of sympathy, the family has designated Shriner's Hospital for Children.
