Juanita Loyd Murphy

Juanita Loyd Murphy, age 91, was born on June 20, 1935, in Bassett, Arkansas, and passed away peacefully in Tomball, Texas, on August 25, 2025.

Juanita was a devoted wife and dedicated mother whose family was always her greatest priority. She lived a life centered on love, care, and service to those around her. She enjoyed cooking and sewing and took great pride in creating a warm and welcoming home for her family. In her younger years, she loved playing tennis and spending time camping, making many cherished memories along the way.

More than anything, Juanita treasured the time she spent with her family, especially her grandsons. Christopher and Justin brought immense joy to her life, and she loved them dearly. Whether sharing meals, stories, or simply spending time together, the moments she shared with them were among her most treasured blessings.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wesley Leon Murphy, as well as two sisters and two brothers.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving daughter, Donna (Andy) Gromek; her cherished grandsons, Christopher Gromek and Justin Gromek; her brother, Carl Loyd Jr.; and her sister, Helen Hutcherson.

Juanita's kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered always. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, and she will be deeply missed.

A graveside committal will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2026 at Klein Memorial Park. (9714 FM 2920, Tomball, Texas, 77375).
