Juana M. Dyess, 84, passed away on February 9, 2017 in Houston ,Texas. She was born on July 28, 1932 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, William J. Dyess, Sr.; sons, Michael Dyess and William J. (Butch) Dyess; and parents, Charles and Oleta Morris. Juana is survived by her brother, Lloyd Morris; nephews, Patrick Morris and Mark Morris; and grandchildren, Barbara Dyess, Marshall Dyess, Alicia Dyess, and Michael Dyess.
Juana graduated Murphy High in Mobile, Alabama and then from University of Houston. She enjoyed teaching Spanish at Cy-Fair and Eisenhower High School. Juana was an accomplished singer and guitarist who loved Hispanic and classical music. The family would like to thank all of her friends for their love and concern, the ladies (SCJ) at Christ Redeemer for their dedicated efforts in her behalf, and the staff at Autumn Leaves Cy-Fair and Hospice of Grace for their very professional and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations to Christ Redeemer Catholic Church will be appreciated.
