Joyce Post was Born in Navasota on July 5, 1944 where her father and mother and she lived in a little shotgun house on about an acre of land. Robert Post soon moved the family to Magnolia where she started to school at age 5 in a small little school house just off Main Street. Her dad being in the oilfield business again moved them to Tomball where they settled . As a small girl growing up in Tomball she developed friendships that would last a lifetime.
During high school she was voted class president , on the year book committee, and where she also played the drums. She was baptized at the Tomball First Baptist Church. There she would play the piano and organ for church, wedding , and other events. She was a member of a quartet that would appear on a local radio station in Conroe. After graduating Tomball high school she went off to Baylor and then later attended the university of Houston.
She started working for an insurance agency American General as an administrative assistant working her way up to executive administrative assistant to the executive president of the company. During this time she got married and had one daughter Deana and after 48 years she retired.
Her hobbies included, traveling, family, sewing, arts and crafts, playing the piano and ancestry. She enjoyed Bluebell and cherry Dr. Pepper.
She is preceded in death by her dad Robert M. Post and her Mother Mayola Post.
