Glenda Joyce Marlow, born August 28, 1943 in Houston, Texas went home to be with the Lord May 1, 2022 at the age of 78. She leaves behind to Cherish her memory her Husband Hollis Marlow of 30 years, Sister Helen & Don Pulnik, Brother Larry & Sheila Robertson, Sister Shelia Hay, Daughter Cindy Putman, Daughter Brenda & Greg Engel, Daughter Tressa Howe and Greg, Daughter LaCrisha & Jeff Chasteen, Daughter Michelle & Scoty Welch, Daughter Tami & Pete Nutley, Daughter Teresa & Ryan Trueblood, Son Ronnie Marlow & Glynis, Daughter Teresa & Joe Figueroa, Daughter in law Suzanne Marlow, Predeceased Son Ricky Marlow. Twenty Three Grand Children, Twenty One Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandson.
Mom, Mother, Momma Joyce, Wife, G-Maw, GI GI, Grandma Joyce, Glenda, Joyce, Baby, Aunt Joyce, daughter, Sister, Cousin, Best Friend – the list is endless – She was many things to many people. She was Kind, Loving, Giving, Strong, heroic, Funny, polite, gifted, compassionate and the rock for many throughout her life. Everyone who had the pleasure meeting her, loved her. She always knew how to brighten someone's day and make them feel loved. She treated everyone with kindness and respect. Her outlook on life was inspiring. If you were lucky enough to spend more than five minutes in her presence, you were forever changed. She accomplished much in her lifetime. Business Owner, Beautician, Plant Manager, Avid fisherman, hunter, loved to play cards and slots too just to mention a few. But what she did best was Love!!! There are no words to express the void so many will feel without her infectious laughter and physical presence here. We know that she is with our Lord and Savior and we know she will continue to watch over us and help from Heaven. Until we meet again, We Love you!
A Celebration of her life will be held at Klein Funeral Home, Thursday May 5 th at 2:00PM, with visitation starting at 1:00PM. Immediately following, she will be interred at Klein Memorial Park. Following the interment, a Reception will be held at the Marlow Home in Magnolia, all are welcome to attend. Come help us celebrate a life well lived!
