Joyce Elizabeth Clemons Livesay passed away on May 24, 2018. Born in Oklahoma City to the late Floyd A. Clemons and Freela F. McCullough Clemons. She is predeceased by her infant son Michael. She is survived by her sisters Pamela Roberts and Clair Cowan and by her sons Robert P. Livesay, Thomas A. Livesay, and wife Kimberly, daughter Carolyn L. Guinn and husband Charles, and Amy E. McPherrin and husband Bob. Joyce also leaves grandchildren Rebecca, Mary, Matthew, Tyler, Cody, Ryan, Kayla, and Faith, all of whom were the joy of her life.

After graduating from Classen H.S., Oklahoma City, she attended Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma while studying music. Joyce graduated in 1956 from Texas Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Science degree. She taught school in Midland, TX ISD. She joined Grace Presbyterian Church following the family move to Houston in 1972. She was a member of the Chancel Choir for many years and organized and directed the church's first bell choir.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Klein Funeral Home Chapel. Interment fill follow at a later date at Houston National Cemetery.
