Lynella Joyce Langford Dutton (known as Joyce), 83, passed away on January 29, 2021 at her home in Montgomery, Texas. She was the devoted wife of Jack Arnold Dutton. They shared 62 years of marriage together. Born in Anderson, Indiana and raised in Carmi, Illinois she was the daughter of J. Hon Langford and Emily Irene Frazier Langford. She attended Carmi High School. She devoted her life to be a supporting and loving wife, and a nourishing and loving mother and grandmother.

She invested herself fully in her children's and grandchildren's activities from Scouting, Swimming, Music, Baseball, Horses, etc. Holidays were a special time for her and she went all out to ensure the traditions of the seasons were fulfilled for her family. As the wife of an Energy Industry executive she found herself uprooting her home frequently to move on to the next location. She did so eagerly and was the cornerstone for establishing a warm home in each new location. As grandchildren came along, 'Mimi' embraced the role fully and loved to spoil them every chance she got. She also made time to learn the art of painting and enjoyed that hobby in her spare time. She followed her husband in retirement into his passion of Ranching for over 25 years at the Ranch they established in Montgomery, Texas.

She is survived by brother James Michael Langford and wife, Linda Armstrong Langford, son David Michael Dutton and wife Lisa Rene Dutton, daughter Rebecca Lynn Shepard and husband Rusty Wayne Drake, daughter Melissa Kay Batchelor, grandchildren Benjamin Arnold Shepard, Daniel Philip Dutton, Jessica Marie Shepard, Emily Elizabeth Shepard, Elizabeth Grace Dutton, Lauren Rachel Batchelor and Timothy Michael Batchelor, step-granddaughters Elizabeth Ann Wisenbaker and Rebecca Lynne Wisenbaker and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Arnold Dutton, her parents J. Hon Langford and Emily Irene Langford parents-in-law Arnold Wilson Dutton and Amy Corinne Dutton, daughter-in-law Patricia Hope Dutton, son Philip Mark Dutton and granddaughter Sarah Katherine Batchelor. A private family remembrance service will be held at her home at a later date.
