It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Josué Cuevas, who left this world on July 22, 2026, at the age of 30.

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Josué spent his entire life in the city he proudly called home. He was a man of many talents, working as an electrician technician while also expressing his incredible creativity as a tattoo artist. His artistic gifts extended far beyond tattooing. He loved painting and drawing, and he had an extraordinary passion for plants. His home was filled with countless indoor and outdoor plants that reflected the same care, patience, and life he poured into everything he loved.

More than anything, Josué will be remembered for the light he brought into the lives of others. He possessed a rare kind of positivity that could brighten even the darkest days. Loyal, courageous, determined, and full of heart, he faced life with strength and an unwavering spirit. Negativity never seemed to diminish his joy or his hope. His smile, laughter, and genuine kindness had a way of filling every room the moment he walked in. He was the kind of person who made everyone feel welcomed, valued, and loved. To know Josué was to experience warmth, encouragement, and a reminder that there is always something good to hold onto. He truly was a breath of fresh air, and his light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew him.

Josué is lovingly survived by his father, Eduardo Cuevas; his mother, Hisela Cuevas; and his six siblings: Eduardo Jr. Cuevas, Victor Zelaya, Alex Zelaya, Hector Cuevas, Carlos Cuevas, and Blanca Cuevas. He also leaves behind countless family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives were forever changed by his compassion, generosity, and unforgettable spirit.

Though his time with us was far too short, Josué's legacy is one of love, creativity, resilience, and joy. His memory will live on in every life he touched, every piece of art he created, every plant he nurtured, and every heart he inspired.
