Joseph (Joe) Michael Ordanes was born in Houston, Texas on August 3, 1982 to Edna Salazar Merhan Ordanes and Jose Ordanes. He attended elementary school at St. Edward's and throughout the Houston Area. Joseph graduated from St. Pius X High School in 2000.

Joe attended Sam Houston University with a degree in Business Management. He worked at various retail companies working his way up to management, and eventually led him to Cintas. In his final years of employment with Cintas he was a Training and Compliance Instructor teaching the community life saving resuscitative efforts and basic first aid.

Joe met the love of his life through his immense group of friends in 2006. They wed in The Palisades State Park in Garretson, South Dakota in 2010. Their first daughter Kori Jo was born in 2012 and Joie Mae in 2014. They raised their girls together at their home in Spring, Texas and found their forever home in August, 2022 less than a mile away.

Joe loved spending time with his family, his dogs, and his friends. He loved being outdoors hunting, fishing, and shooting his guns at the range. He embraced every opportunity to get together with family and friends and welcomed everyone to his home with open arms and a huge cheesy smile. Joe loved to barbecue and smoke meats for crowds and keeping bellies and cups full all around. Joe gave the best hugs, had the best smile, and loved life Texas Big. He will be forever missed, never forgotten, and forever loved.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Kristin Ordanes; daughters, Kori Ordanes, Joie Ordanes; mother, Edna Salazar; sisters, Joanne Ordanes, Jose Ordanes; cousins, Chris Merhan, Mark Lebig, Andrew Lebig, Emmanuel Merhan, Matt Mehan; many nieces and nephews; lots of special friends and great coworkers.

Joseph was preceded in death by Aunt Lourdes Merhan and Uncle Roger Ordonez.

The family will receive visitors Sunday, December 11 ^th , 2022, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Dr. Spring Texas, 77379.  Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 13 ^th , 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Edwards Catholic Church, 2601 Spring Stuebner Rd, with Fr. Christian Bui, Fr. Thomas Joseph, and Fr. Thomas Ryan presiding.  Reception immediately following.
