Joseph Louis Lyons Jr., known as "Joe Joe" to those that loved him, passed from this life to his heavenly home on Sunday, January 2nd, 2022. He was born on August 20th, 1974 and was a lifetime Houstonian. Joe Joe attended Jersey Village High School where he played football and made lifelong friends. He was a sports fan from an early age playing football and baseball in his youth, and then supporting the Houston Texans, Rockets and Astros. Joe Joe could regularly be found singing karaoke or playing poker any given night. Wherever he went he was always surrounded by friends, old and new ones alike.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Susan Ferrel, his grandparents, Paul and Barbara Kellogg, and George Lyons Jr. He is survived by his father, Joseph Lyons Sr., grandmother, Maria Lyons, siblings, Kristi Schultz and Mitchell Andrews, brother-in-law, Nathan Schultz, niece and nephew, Charlotte and Wyatt Schultz, many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

A memorial service in Joe Joe's honor will be held on January 15th, 2022 at St. John Lutheran Church on 15235 Spring Cypress Rd in Cypress, TX. The service will begin at 1pm with a light reception following in the neighboring chapel.
