It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Joseph "Johnny" Lanza Sr., who departed this world on February 23, 2026, at the age of 84. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his cherished family and loved ones.

Joseph was predeceased by his loving parents, Frank and Theresa, and his dear brothers, Wally and Carmine. Their memories were always held close to his heart.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sheila, his sons: Joseph Jr. and his wife Lynne, Dominic and his wife Vada, Nicholas and his partner Trisha, and Vincent and his wife Jennifer. He is also survived by his brother, Frank. Joseph took immense pride in his family, and his eyes would light up whenever he visited with his eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and fulfillment to his life.

Joseph was a man known for his quick wit and warm smile. His presence was a gift to all who knew him, as he had an unparalleled ability to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated. These qualities endeared him to many and ensured that his legacy of kindness will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.

In accordance with his wishes, a private ceremony will be held to honor and celebrate Joseph's life, ensuring that his departure is marked with the same dignity and love with which he lived.
