Joseph Anthony Gill was born in Humble, Texas on January 13, 1971, and passed away in Houston, Texas on September 16, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edgar Lee Gill.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Holly Gill; sons, Dustin Adams and wife Katie, and Cody Adams and wife Jole; daughter, Heather Christel and husband Clint; grandchildren, Hadley, Kaylin, Kade, Sam, and Addison; mother, Judith Ann Ary; mother-in-law, Connie Williams; brothers, Edgar (Ed) Gill and wife Justine, and David Williams and wife Ginny; sisters, Susan Lee Gill-Holt, and Sheri Lege and husband Douglas; aunt, Linda Hall; uncles, Larry Simms, and Mark Simms; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Joe has always been a lively spirit who enjoyed the adventures in life. He found the love of his life, Holly, in 1997 and married her on October 26th, 1998. Not only did he find the apple of his eye, he also gained 3 children — Dustin, Cody, and Heather — who he viewed as nothing less than his own. Joe loved to be outside grilling, camping, and the occasional round of golf. He made friends anywhere he went and loved to exchange stories of his mischievous youth with anyone who would listen. He was known in his family to be the cook, "The Chef"! He always found pride in hosting a crowd with his house being the neighborhood hangout. He was known as being a generous soul, always helping in any way that he could, with a smile on his face. Joe will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.
