Obituary

Jose "Joe" Mores Jr., age 91, left this world peacefully on March

25, 2023 surrounded by his family. He is the son of the late Jose Villamor Mores Sr. and Gregoria Rejuso Espenilla and is the sixth of the twelve siblings, was born on January 4, 1932 in Masbate, Philippines. He received his BS in Architecture from National University, Manila in 1955. He also studied photography and was excellent in charcoal portrait sketching. He immigrated to the US in 1968 and worked as an architectural draftsman for Disneyland and NASA in California. In 1977, he moved to Houston, TX, as a designer of residential buildings until his retirement in 1993.

He was united in matrimony to Corazon Magpale on July 5, 1989 in Houston. He is survived by his loving wife Cora, a brother, three sisters, many nephews, nieces, cousins and grandchildren.

Family, friends and others whose lives Joe touched are invited to the visitation at Klein Funeral Home at 9719 Wortham Blvd., Houston, TX 77065 from 4pm to 8pm on Sunday, April 16, 2023 to reminisce, grieve and support each other. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, April 17, 2023 at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, 19222 Tomball Pkwy., Houston, Texas 77070 with Fr. Ebin Christopher Harris officiating.
