It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jose Agustin Blanco Solis, a devoted husband, a loving father and a cherished grandfather "Papo". Surrounded by his loving family, Jose, passed from his earthly life to eternal life with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 20, 2025 at the age of 84.

He was born on May 5, 1940 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to the late Aurelio and Anamaria (Solis) Blanco. One of thirteen children. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Alicia and his three children, Laura, Jose (wife Jessica) and Alicia (husband Genaro), his grandchildren, Dylan and Levi and many other family members.

Jose was a very committed, dedicated, driven and reliable person who loved helping others. Known as "Joe" to his former coworkers, he retired in 2015 from SPX Flow after 50 years of service. After retirement, he enjoyed every day by waking up early, making a hot cup of coffee and sitting on the back porch to watch the sunrise.

He enjoyed going to church, gardening, watching sports, entertaining and cooking, especially BBQ, for family and friends. He had a sense of humor and laughter that will truly be missed.

Including his parents, Jose was preceded in death by six of his siblings and his first grandson, Jordan.

Though you're no longer with us, your spirit continues to guide and comfort us each day. Your love and strength are forever imprinted in our hearts. Your memory lives on in the love and laughter we shared. Rest in peace.
