JoLynn Terry Coats, 85, was born on August 22, 1933 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and passed away peacefully on April 14, 2019 in Spring, Texas. A graveside service for JoLynn will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday , April 17, 2019 at Klein Memorial Park, 9714 FM2920, Tomball, TX 77375.

JoLynn was the only daughter of Joe and Hazel Terry of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She went on to Oklahoma A&M College in Stillwater, Oklahoma, now Oklahoma State University, where she met Jack Glen Coats, who was serving in the United States Air Force. JoLynn and Jack married in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1954. They raised a son and daughter, while moving from Oklahoma, to New Orleans, Louisiana, and finally settling in Spring, Texas. Her interests included gardening, being an accomplished organist, bridge and rooting for the Oklahoma Sooners, her grandson's alma mater.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Hazel Terry; her brother, Joe Terry; and her husband, Jack Glen Coats.

JoLynn is survived by her son, Stuart Coats of Spring, Texas; her daughter, V'Lois Lynn Brasington of Spring, Texas; and her grandson, Dalton Lea Brasington of Norman, Oklahoma.
