Johnny Jamail, Jr.'s Obituary
Edward John Jamail ("Johnny"), age 76, of Cypress, TX, departed this life on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. He was born July 4, 1940, in Houston, TX, to Edward and Marcene (Stallings) Jamail. Johnny was married on October 23, 1970, to Carolyne Bueckner. Together they raised two children.
As a young man, Johnny's passions were drag racing and bull riding. He loved flying his small plane from rodeo to rodeo. He built, owned, and raced several cars.
Johnny and his brother, Mike, operated a sand hauling business - Jamail Trucking. He started Jamail Plumbing and for the last 30 years has owned and operated that company with his son, John.
Johnny enjoyed spending time with his family and dogs and was known to throw great bar-b-ques and get-togethers at his home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyne, and both parents.
Left to mourn his passing are his children, Terri L. (Mark) Krekowski and John (Tiffany) Jamail; his grandchildren, Justin Lawrence, Austin Lawrence, Kaylee Jamail, and Addy Jamail; his nephews, Steve Nettles and Jack Jamail; his ex-brother-in-law and close friend, Joe Nettles; long-time friend, Jim Lupo; and his friends at The Nook in Tomball.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 21, at Klein Funeral Home - Tomball, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, May 22, in the funeral home chapel. A graveside committal service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
