On May 14th, 2025, our Lord and Savior called Johnny Hahn home for supper time at the age of 77, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 6th, 1947, in Bryan, TX, to his father, Rev. John Earl Hahn, and mother, Joy Lee Hahn. He was a beloved son, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend.

Johnny is survived by his son, Michael Hahn, and wife, Kandice; granddaughter, Canaan Tunnell, and husband, Ryan; great-grandchildren, Eden, Ezra, Elizabeth, and Esther; brother, Wayne Hahn and sister, Debi Hahn; nephews, Nicholas Hahn and wife, Phoebe, Matthew Hahn and wife, Faith, and Andrew Hahn; niece, Amanda Hahn, and husband, Brandon; great-nephews, Hayden, Oliver, Johnny, and Lucas, along with his great-nieces, Gwyn and Ellie. He also leaves behind former spouse, Georgia Hahn, countless cousins and friends. His love for his family was unwavering and boundless.

Johnny was known for his immense generosity. He never met a stranger and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Johnny was the 2 a.m. friend you could count on.

Johnny was one of the most hardworking people you could have ever met. He began his career on the railroad, working for Missouri Pacific for approximately 20 years. He and his brother, and partner in crime, Wayne, also started a landscaping company, working both jobs tirelessly for many years until fully embarking on their landscaping journey, running Hahn's Lawn Service for over 40 years. During this time, Johnny also chased his education, ultimately earning his Masters Degree. Despite his dedication to his career and education, he also always made time to enjoy life. He loved hunting (until the fire ants eliminated his quail), fishing with his family, spending time on the golf course with his dear friend, Leroy Sargent, and following his favorite sports teams: the Baylor Bears, Houston Astros, and Houston Cougars, attending as many games as possible. He was passionate about his faith, leading his church, Faith Temple Baptist, as song director alongside his Paster and father, Rev. John Earl Hahn, and pianist and cousin, Sally Silverthorn, praising his Lord and Savior through song, inspiring everyone around him, for over 50 years.

Services will be held on Tuesday, May 20th, at 10 a.m., with a viewing starting at 9 a.m. at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, TX. A graveside service will follow at Willowhole Cemetery in North Zulch, TX.

Though Johnny has gone on to his mansion just over the hilltop, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Go rest easy, Johnny; your work on Earth is done.
