Johnny Max Gracey, beloved husband, dad, grandpa and friend, passed away at the age of 78 in Tomball, Texas.
Born in Hobart, Oklahoma Johnny loved The Lord with his entire being. After graduating Hobart High School, Johnny enlisted in the United States Army. After being honorably discharged from the service, he moved to Texas and married Janeal Allen where they raised seven children before she passed away. He married Ann Adams in 2000. Johnny was a journeyman electrician for over 50 years. After retiring he enjoyed spending time with his wife, kids, grandkids, great grandkids and telling anyone who would listen (and some that just couldn't get away) about The Lord. Johnny was the happiest when he was eating and enjoying time with family and friends.
Johnny is survived by his loving wife, Ann, children Jack Kappes, Allen Kappes, Susan Kelly, Penny Gracey, Johnny Gracey, David Gracey, Donna Monte and son-in-law Mike, Robert Skaines and daughter-in law Jessie, brother Darryl and sister-in-law Gina, 22 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and faithful dog Rusty and loving cat Zek.
Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Janeal Gracey, two brothers, Kenneth Gracey and Paul Gracey, and one son, Eddie Kappes.
