John loved his family, his home, his yard, his Church and his puppy, Chopin.  Even during his extensive illness, from his wheelchair, he still managed to maintain his yard in "tip-top" condition, winning "Yard of the Month" twice!

John's body was weary, and he peacefully slept away to meet His Maker.  His desire to walk again has been fulfilled; he is now walking around Heaven!

Awaiting a joyful reunion with him are his beloved and adoring wife, "SJ" who so faithfully provided "Stellar" care for him during his lengthy illness; his 2 devoted sons and daughter-in-law, "Bug" ("PJ") and "Me Baby"; his Grands, "J-4" and "Nunu"; special cousins, Tahira Abdul-Rahman, Albert Maurice, Jr., Leona Mincie, Guy Lewis (Magdaline), Lommie Jean, Kyles, Joyce Hutcherson, Van Cleve Martin; Godchildren, other relatives, Shaudette Wiggins, neighbors, his Church family, and other friends.

Our family is grateful to Dr. Gabriella Nicola and Staff, Kindred @ Home Care, Cypress Fire & Rescue, Harris County Constable's Office – Precinct Four, Harris County EMS

along with John's many other Physicians for the care provided to him.
