John Clyde Wade, son, brother, uncle, PaPa, and friend to many passed away surrounded by family and friends on October 6, 2017 . John, 69, was born on July 23, 1948 in Bradenton, Florida. He graduated from Lufkin High School in 1967 were he played football for the Lufkin Panthers. John was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting and being out in nature.

He is preceded in death by his grandson Tyler Wade, father Alton T. Warner, his mother Mary A. Wade, and his brother Glenn Forrest Exline. He is survived by his sons John and wife Dana, Benny and wife Amy, and daughter Wendi and husband Dennis Selbe. His grandchildren include Jessica Selbe, Tiffani Littlepage, Madalyne Selbe, Jacob Wade, Mackenzie Wade, Cali Wade, Sydney Wade, and Mason Wade. His great grandchildren include Seth Hall and Kylie Hickson. His siblings include brother Alton and wife Linda Warner, and his sisters Judy and husband Jerry Peacock, Jane W. Peterson and sister-in-law Betty Jane Exline. His nieces and nephews Michael and wife Lorrie Landrum, Wade and wife Michelle Warner, Glenn Exline Jr. and wife Dani Exline, Shawn and wife Evelyn Exline, Melissa Landrum, and Christi and husband Brian Speer, Donna Ibanez and Mark Urteage and wife Claudia. John Wade also had many other great nieces and nephews.
