John Owen Vincent, age 60, of Magnolia, Texas, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 22, 2022. He was born on August 2, 1961.

John graduated from Midland Lee High School and attended Angelo State University where he played basketball. John loved all sports but he excelled at basketball. He coached his own children and many other children in and around his neighborhood. It was nothing to see a dozen or so kids from elementary all the way up to junior high playing basketball ball with him in the driveway. Neighborhood kids would come to the house and ask if "coach John" could play.

John was a gifted salesman and business man in the machine tool industry for over 30 years. John never met a stranger and loved helping people. He served as a deacon at Second Baptist Church in Cypress where you could see him on many Sunday mornings serving breakfast to his Bible study class or serving in his community.

He had many friends he loved to golf and bowl with but the thing he loved the most was his family.
He was married to his wife Lisa for 40 years and was a proud father of his three children, and even prouder PopPop of his five grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother Gloria Graham.
Left to honor his memory are his wife Lisa Vincent, his daughter Tiffany Wisdom (Shannon), son Brad (Nicole), son Austin (Deena); 5 grandchildren, Shelby Wisdom, Tara Wisdom, Samantha Wisdom, Bradley David Vincent Jr., and David Walter Vincent; his father and stepmother Robert and Debby Vincent; 2 sisters, Renee Bien, and Sharon Vincent, brother David Vincent and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins who adored him.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday February 5, 2022 @10:00 am at Second Baptist Church, Cypress.
