John Bitzer Trout, age 83, was called to Heaven on Sunday, June 30, 2019 in Tomball, Texas with his loving family by his side.

John is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ellen, and his son, John Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, their daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Randy, and their granddaughters, Ashley, Allie, Andie, and her husband, Matt, who all lovingly called him Bubba.

John married his beautiful bride Barbara in 1958. He and Barbara were blessed with their two wonderful children, John Jr. and Susan. His pride and joy were his three granddaughters Ashley, Andie, and Allie.

John was a longtime employee of CB&I that took him and Barbara all over the world. A passionate coin collector, he was also a member of many local coin clubs in the Greater Houston area. He was an avid outdoorsman, whether it was catching fish or hunting duck, geese, and deer. He also was an enthusiastic Houston sports fan, known to never miss the latest of an Astros or Texans game.
