John Bernard Pallasch III, 57, passed peacefully on July 7, 2016, surrounded by those who loved him.

John was born in Chicago, Illinois to John and Patricia Pallasch on July 2, 1959. He spent most of his early life in Buffalo, New York, then ventured to Texas where he played football for Texas Christian University. Following college, John remained in Dallas-Fort Worth where he met his wife, Mary Lynne. They married on September 3, 1983. John began his career as an insurance broker with Marsh later that year. He devoted more than 35 years of his life to the industry, specializing as both a broker and underwriter in oil & gas, most recently with AIG.

John was a dedicated provider, husband, and father of three. A scout leader, baseball coach, and sideline cheerleader at every dance and gymnastics competition, hockey, baseball, and football game. He was an avid duck hunter. He also loved travel and photography, and especially enjoyed combining the two on trips to his favorite places in the world – Hawaii and Sanibel Island, Florida.

John was preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lynne; son Brant and his wife Angelina; daughter Jaynie; son Hunter; brother, Ed; sister, Ann; many loved ones; and a wealth of business associates who became friends.

Visitation will be on Sunday July 10, from 5 pm until 8 pm at the Klein Funeral Home, CyFair-Northwest, at 9719 Wortham Blvd, Houston, Texas 77065.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Monday July 11, 2016 in the Klein Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Thomas High School or the American Cancer Society.
