Obituary

John Arthur O'Brien (Jack) passed away on December 6, 2022, at the age of 91.

Jack was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was well known, admired, and received many awards in the auto industry.

Jack's passions were cars, golf, spending time with his wife, kids and grandkids, playing blackjack with family after his retirement and watching old westerns in his recliner. He grew-up in Butte, MT, where he was very involved in school activities at Boys Central High, including football,wrestling, intramural track, cross country and orchestra. He was also band president and prom king for his high school. After graduating from high school, he attended Montana State University and received a bachelors degree in business administration. He owned and operated his own gas station/garage before taking a position with Pontiac motor division.

Jack moved to Houston in the early 80's where he worked as a General Manager at Nils Sefeldt Volvo. Shortly after that he met and married Elizabeth Ann Wallace in 1985. Together, Jack and Ann spent the last 37 years living in the Houston/Beaumont area.

Jack was proceeded in death by his Sister Mary Virginia Cummins. He is survived by his wife: Elizabeth Ann O'Brien, his children: Hollis Russell, Kristana Brown (Curtis), Jon O'Brien (Mariana), Walter Wallace (Jeann'e), Tina Womack (Jeff), Jerry Wallace, Grandchildren: Justin Jack, Janina Perdue (Alan), Joel Jack, Adryanna Russell, Kayla Brown, Kelsi Brown, Aubrey Newnham (Terry), Jona O'Brien, Georgia Noll (Stewart), Cole O'Brien, Pryce O'Brien, Fernando O'Brien, Claudia O'Brien, Cami O'Brien, Phillip Wallace (Dana), Mathew Wallace, Andrew Wallace (Samijo), Daniel Wallace (Shay), John Hunt, Shaun Hunt (Kristy), Lauren McDowell (Stoney), Heather Gayle (Alex), Jennifer Bassett (Justin) and a Number of Great-Grand Children.
