On December 11, 2022, John David Mott lost his battle with cancer at the age of 56.

David was a much-loved father, brother, uncle, great-uncle, and friend. He leaves behind his daughter Janet and son-in-law Cam, sister Jodie and brother-in-law Scott, niece Chloe and nephew Keith, great-niece Alexandra and great-nephews Braxton and Miles. He also leaves behind numerous friends, and his AA family.

Always quick with a joke and a smile, David brightened the lives of everyone who knew him. He was the epitome of handy, able to fix absolutely anything. David was also a talented and creative woodworker, making unique creations that he took joy in sharing. His wit, humor, and warmth made him truly special. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

The family acknowledges with gratitude everyone who touched David's life -- including the caregivers who, with empathy and compassion, took remarkable care of him and became part of his extended family.

Memorial service to be held on Thursday December 22, 2022 @ Klein Funeral home, 1400 W. Main Street, Tomball, Texas  77375. Reception immediately following. The family will receive visitors from 1-2pm prior to the service.
