John Michel Llewellyn, 58, passed away on July 21st, 2024 in Magnolia, TX.

Son of Barbara Jean Llewellyn and Thomas William Llewellyn, he was born in Houston, TX. He graduated from Magnolia High School in 1984 and later received his associate degree from Sam Houston State University while working for TDCJ. He began Llewellyn's Construction in 1996 starting with one piece of equipment and built it into an empire. John throughout every obstacle, worked to improve his company until his last days. Although John worked vigorously on his projects, his favorite pastime was hunting. John loved the outdoors and nature and spent every moment he could outside. He enjoyed spending time at the family ranch, and in Mexico hunting with family and friends. His loved ones would say John had a bigger-than-life character and always found a way to make things happen. John would help anyone he could and protected the ones he cared for fiercely. He loved his community, and through multiple facets, he found ways to give back as often as possible. Above all things, John was a family man and always made sure his wife, his mother, his children, and his granddaughter were taken care of. He was one of a kind and will be remembered fondly by anyone who knew him.

John was a deeply loved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his father Thomas Llewellyn, and his brother Stephen Llewellyn. He is survived by his wife Tamera Llewellyn, his mother Barbara Llewellyn, his daughter Trenton Llewellyn, his son Ryen Llewellyn, his granddaughter Kastyn Llewellyn, his sisters Sharon Beck, Susan Longley, and Sherri Llewellyn.

While we have lost a huge piece of our family, many have also lost a dear friend in him. He has been a rock to many, a master at humor and brightening someone's day, and even someone who gave the best advice no matter the circumstance. Other than his familial titles, he was also a colleague, a role model, a cousin, a stand-in paternal figure, an entrepreneur, a handyman, he was a jack of all trades, and much more.

John was a light in this world that will never be forgotten, and he will be missed by so many.

Services will be held at Klein Funeral Home on July 26th, 2024 at 10 am.
