John was the epitome of a true Texan. Born and raised in Beaumont, Austin and Spring, Texas, John ran the hills of Barton Creek as a kid, was an avid and passionate hunter, incredibly knowledgeable and respectful of that sport. His sanctuary always being outside with his favorite girl, Jessie in the calm breeze of God's glory.
John excelled in everything he did. John played football through high school and college before joining the Army in 2005; he deployed twice to Iraq and fought alongside his Brothers of the 505th Infantry Regiment of the 82nd Airborne Division. John continued on to work with his father's business in the environmental engineering field.
In the recent years, John dedicated his time to helping other Veterans with PTSD at Camp Hope in Houston, Texas.
John is survived by his wife, Jessica Pierce Kane (Novotny), his father and mother, Alan and Anne Kane of Austin, TX, his 3 sisters, Kristen McLemore and daughter, Abby McLemore, Sarah Hinshaw and Rachel Kane of Austin, TX, his beloved Grandfather, John T. Kane of High Island, TX and many true family and friends.
