Obituary

   John Samuel Crowley, 64, returned to his heavenly home on August 17, 2016 and was  surrounded by his two daughters. His devotion to his family and firm belief in  Jesus Christ supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.    John was born to the late Delbert Vernon and Mary Jean Crowley on August 22, 1951.  He was immersed in the Christian community which would be his lifelong support  from an early age. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelors  of business administration. John spent the majority of his career as an  international consultant in the petrochemical industry where he travelled the  world. As a young adult he moved from New Orleans, Louisiana to Houston, Texas and  made Houston his home. This is where he would spend the next 30 years raising his  two daughters. He finished his career with M. Holland Company and in 2012 he began  his retirement. John was active in his church community, The Metropolitan Baptist  church. He sang in the choir, was a greeter, and loved by many. He enjoyed visits  from his grandsons and taking road trips to visit them.    John is survived by his two daughters Nicole Angelique Crowley and Jeannette  Michelle Davie. Son-in-law Ryan Brett Davie. Sister Jeani Desisto Brother-in-Law  Johnny B. Desisto. Grandsons Levi John Norman, Bronx Samuel Davie, and Bowen Luke  Davie. Nephews Rick Redick and Rob Redick. Former wife and friend, Jacqueline W.  Crowley. And his best canine friend, his boxer Champ!    There will be a memorial service to celebrate John's life at Klein Funeral Home  16131 Champions Forest Drive Spring, Texas on Saturday August 27, 2016 at 2:00pm.
