John Logan Buckley, 77, passed away January 25, 2025. He was born July 15,1947 in Houston, Texas to John Herndon Buckley and Madelyn Davis Buckley who preceded him in death.

John attended St. Thomas High School. He also while in the Scouts earned the Eagle Scout Award. John proudly served his country in the US
Navy. After his tour of duty he returned home and attended the University of Houston. He worked for Southern Pacific now known as Union Pacific for 36 yrs. until his retirement in 2009.

John loved to read espionage novels, watch History Channel and Food Network and solve Sudoku puzzles. He loved to spend weekends at the shooting range. During his later years, he enjoyed spending time playing with his dog Kobe.

He is survived by wife, Elizabeth "Didi" Buckley, their beloved dog Kobe, his five siblings- Evelyn Cutcliff and husband Leo Cutcliff, Kathleen Buckley, William Buckley and wife Miranda Buckley, Stephen J Buckley and wife Alixandra Buckley and nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Muhammad Hanif for his friendship and excellent care of John over the years.
