John W. Beier 84 of Houston, Texas passed away of lung cancer and a long struggle with dementia on November 15, 2023.  He was born in Houston on July 29, 1939 to Otto and Louise Beier.  He attended Austin High School before serving in the U.S. Army.  John was preceded by his mom and dad, his brothers Julius, O.C. and Thomas. He is survived by his twin sister Joan Taylor and his brother Charles Beier, along with his wife Debi; his wife of 54 years Diane; son Robert and wife D; his daughter Anne DeGeorge and husband Jason; grandsons Lane and Blake; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He loved his dog Angel and 2 cats.

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church (Mary Chapel), 19222 Tomball Parkway, Houston, 77070. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please donate to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) or to Abandoned Animal Rescue, Magnolia, TX (aartexas.org)
