John Alan Bayer of Houston, TX passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025

John was born on Sept. 15, 1957 in Detroit, MI to Richard and Elizabeth Bayer. He was a loving father to Christine Stewart and Robert Bayer and beloved brother to Jeff Bayer and Carol Knopp.

John was an accomplished portfolio manager, earning both an MBA and CFA designation. He was a devout Catholic. He loved his kids, the beach, flying and his dogs.

A service will be held March 24 at 10am at Klein Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John Vianney Catholic Church or the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
