John Michael Axmann, age 71, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2021.  John was born on February 26, 1950 in Tampa Florida.  He married the love of his life, Beverly Mackin on September 6, 1980.  They had 2 daughters, Jessica Axmann & Erica Axmann Bates (Corban).  John had 4 grandsons that he was crazy about, Jessica's 2 boys, Colby & Carter and Erica & Corban's 2 boys, Dawson & Everett.  After being a dad of girls, where he was always outnumbered (even the dog was a girl), he was excited to finally add some boys to the bunch.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry & Patricia Ford Axmann and his sister, Joan Axmann Parker.  He is survived by his wife, daughters, grandsons, sister Diane Axmann Yarberry of Little Rock, Arkansas & Jacquelyn Axmann Davis of Conroe, Texas.

John graduated from Brownsville High School & University of Houston.  He started out as a pharmacist but then moved to the computer industry for most of his career (CompuAdd, Dell, Compaq & Hewlett Packard).  As successful as he was in the technology field; after he retired, he went back to being a pharmacist for several years.  He was well travelled for work & play.  In his spare time, he loved to cook & BBQ. Family was everything to John & he made all his friends feel that they were his family as well.  There was always time in his day to be available to someone in need, including the difficult months & years of his treatment for colon cancer.  His  legacy remains strong & true and he lives on in the lives of those who were blessed to have known him.

John will also be remembered for how generous he always was.   He was ready to party when it was someone's special occasion & several times would rent a limo so his friends & family could be together.  He was a good father that made all the difference in his children's lives.  He provided praise, support & unconditional love for his girls & his grandsons.  John was always someone you could count on.

In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations to Faithbridge Church, 18000 Stuebner Airline Rd., Spring, TX 77379.  Also a huge Thank You to Dr. Samer Suki and staff at Millennium Oncology in The Woodlands, TX. for their excellent care since 2014.

John leaves behind a wife, daughters, grandsons, numerous relatives & cherished friends, who will never be truly complete without him.
