On November 9, 1948 in East Bernard, Texas, Wharton County, Joe Leonard, Jr. was born to parents Joe Leonard, Sr. and Inell Hayes. Joe attended and graduated from Powell Point Senior High School located in Kendelton ISD in Fort Bend County, Texas.  Joe retired from FMC Technologies in Houston, Texas as a manufacturing engineer with 35 years of service in 2004.

He is survived by his mother, Inell Leonard; son, Chad and wife Nikki; three sisters, Bonnie, Soraya, and Alma; two brothers, Lester and wife Della, and Lloyd and wife Linda; grandchildren, Peyton and Niko; sixteen nieces and nephews; and many loving and devoted family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joe L. Leonard, Sr.

A memorial service for Joe will be held at 2pm on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd., Houston, Texas 77065.
