Joe B Gordon, 70, of Tomball, Texas passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. Joe was born in Sweetwater, Texas on February 6, 1952, to Darwin and Jean Gordon. He was raised in Carlsbad, NM and graduated from Carlsbad High School class of 1970. A lifelong resident of Carlsbad, he only just recently moved to Tomball, Texas in 2020 to be closer to family. Joe had a love for everything cars, especially classic hot rods. He spent a lot of his time after retirement collecting and working on them. He also enjoyed music. Willie Nelson was his favorite artist. He attended many of his concerts, usually coupled with a trip to a casino. Much of his work life was spent in the construction industry, where he had worked the surface of every potash mine in the area at one time or another. In 2006 he started JB Gordon Industrial Construction, Inc. and continued working with his company until his retirement in 2014.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, father Darwin Gordon and mother Jean Gordon Mills as well as his son Clayton Gordon. He is survived by one son, Samuel Gene Gordon and wife Rhonda of Tomball, Texas. One brother, Butch Gordon and wife Koni of Taylor, Texas. Five Grandchildren, Zackary Gordon, Tyler Gordon, Paige Gordon, Nathan Gordon of Carlsbad and Colton Gordon of Tomball, TX. One great-grandchild Clayton Gordon of Carlsbad.
