Beloved daughter, wife and mother, Joanne Hays Johnson, died Sunday with family by her side at Herman Memorial hospital in Cypress. She was 44.

Joanne was born on October 26th, 1976 at Methodist hospital in Houston, Tx. She graduated from 2nd Baptist high school in 1995 and attended Texas A&M where she graduated with a BA in Education in 1999.

Joanne began her teaching career at Dean Middle School, where she met her future husband, Tim Johnson. She most recently taught at Tipps Elementary School in Cy-Fair ISD where she was the Math Specialist.

Joanne's proudest role was being a wonderful mother to her daughter Macie. She also enjoyed travelling with family and floating in the pool.

"She is survived by her mother, Joan Hagan, Joan's husband Mike Hagan, husband Tim, Daughter Macie, Nephew Kyle (Jay) Johnson Erickson, Uncle Bob and Aunt Margot Dussler and cousins Rob, Susan and Elizabeth.

Services will be held at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Cypress on Sunday, August 1st at 2pm with burial to follow at Klein Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5-7pm at Klein Funeral Home-Tomball.
