JoAnn Pokorny, age 95, was born on September 5, 1930 in Kerrville, Texas and passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025 in Cypress, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Pokorny; parents, Richard and Ethel Nowlin; sisters, Ruth Nowlin and Joyce Frazar.

JoAnn is survived by her children; Cecilia, Debbie, Randy and Ricque; 12 grandchildren and 29 great- grandchildren.

JoAnn graduated high school and attended 1 year of college at Shreiner College in Kerrville, Texas.

She loved being at home with her children while they were growing up and in her later years work selling furniture at Montgomery Ward in Willowbrook mall.
