JoAnn (Dimarco) Knippel, 71, of Spring, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from Congestive Heart Failure. She was surrounded by her loved ones at the time of her passing and went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

JoAnn was born October 30, 1950 in Houston, Texas. She was Joseph and Josephine Dimarco's youngest daughter. Growing up in the church had a profound impact on JoAnn and she accepted Jesus at a young age at Cedar Hill Bible Camp. JoAnn spent much of her childhood attending school, playing with her siblings and friends at Colonial Hills Bible Chapel.

After graduating from Aldine High School in 1969 she worked at Drillco as a Supervisor. In 1974 she was introduced to Benjamin Franklin Knippel, Jr., and they soon began dating. She married the love of her life on November 1, 1975 at Harmony Wedding Chapel. Once their daughters Anna and Lynda were born, she became a full time mother and wife.

JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Dimarco and Josephine Dimarco, and her brother Carl Dimarco.

JoAnn is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Ben Knippel and children Anna, Lynda, Chris (son-in-law) and Annabelle (granddaughter). Siblings include Anna Martin and Mary Castolenia.

She loved to bake, garden, needlepoint and enjoyed sharing her talents with her family, friends and church. She cherished spending time with her brother and sisters. JoAnn loved to travel, often going on trips with her sister Mary and enjoyed shopping with her sister Anna.

JoAnn will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all that knew her.
