JoAnn Ruth Isaac was born June 2, 1936 in Coldwater, Kansas, to Joel and Viola Eck. She passed away peacefully on July 5, 2021 at the age of 85. The funeral service will be Saturday, July 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Community Church in Houston, Texas, with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. The interment will be at Klein Cemetery on Cypress N. Houston following the service.

JoAnn graduated high school from Berean Academy and then went to Grace Bible Institute in Omaha, Nebraska, where she met Dean Isaac. She married Dean on July 15, 1956 and enjoyed being a homemaker. They were married for 60 years. JoAnn was a sweet Christian who regularly attended church, read her Bible, and prayed faithfully. She loved teaching children about the Lord by leading Good News Clubs in her home and teaching Sunday School.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Dean Isaac. She leaves behind her children, Colleen Isaac Stump and son-in-law, Dave, Jeanne Isaac Hughes, and Jodie Isaac; grandchildren, David Stump Jr. and wife, Jessica, Michelle Stump Bingham and husband, Tony, Timothy Stump and wife, Rebekah, Brittany Stump Barrows and husband, Ryan, Christopher Stump, Elizabeth Stump Scherer and husband, Joshua, Nathan Hughes and wife, Kathy, Kristen Samuels Habetz and husband, Nick; great grandchildren, Savannah and Emma Bingham, Natalie and Kathryn Barrows, Zachary and Carter Stump, Noah, Holly and Noelle Scherer, Harrison and Camila Hughes; siblings, Doris Eck Davis and husband, Bob, Norma Eck Koehn, Gloria Eck Struble and husband, Jerry, Wayne Eck and wife, Sarah; and many other cherished family and friends.
