Obituary

JoAnn Towns Cobb Cullever, 70, passed away Sunday, January, 17, 2021. JoAnn was a passionate friend, a generous caregiver, a devoted wife, and an immensely proud mother and grandmother. JoAnn loved her family fiercely, often sharing and supporting the dreams of others as if they were her own. She was an unflaggingly bright and positive spirit, and she was a loyal champion to so many from cradle to adulthood. She shared her kindness and her home as readily as her cookies and her lighthearted wit, frequently weaving dear friends permanently into her extended family. No matter the affliction or hurdle, JoAnn often said, "I won't let this get me down," persistently looking ahead to her next milestone, next adventure, next visit with her grandchildren. Perhaps most importantly, she used the words "I love you" unsparingly, ensuring that the people in her life knew how much she cherished them.

She will be missed dearly.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Rusty and Hazel Towns; her parents-in-law, Al and LaDelle Cobb, and Buck and Leona Cullever; her brothers, Mike Towns and J.W. "Bubba" Towns; her brother-in-law, Alfred Grant; her sisters-in-law, Pat Towns and Linda Towns; and her nephew, Rusty Towns.

She is survived by her husband, Cleve Cullever; her daughter, Pamela Reeves, and husband, Ken Reeves; her son, Jason Cobb, and wife, Tiffany Cobb; her son, Stacy Cullever, and wife, Courtney Cullever; her son Sean Cullever; her sister Linda Grant; her sisters-in-law, Elissa Cullever Thompson and Carol Towns; her brother-in-law, Orlin Cullever; her grandchildren, Harlie, Jewel, Jada, Jase, Lukas, Torey; her nieces, Lisa Horn, Jamie Towns, Meghan Thompson, and Kim Towns; her nephews, Garett Horn and Scott Towns; and two of her dearest friends, Brenda Knapp and Kathy Goedecke.
