It is with profound sadness and loss that Joanmarie Suzanne Marks passed away at 10:30P.M. on October 22, 2022, at the age of 82. She passed away at the Willowbrook Methodist Hospital in Houston Texas, after a battle with pneumonia and heart complications. Joanmarie was born on May 1, 1940 to Joseph and Rilla Luongo and grew up in the Somerville area, a Boston Massachusetts suburb. She is survived by her loving husband, Steven. Joanmarie was his loving wife, friend, partner, talented Accountant, Financial Advisor and Co-Owner with Steven of her Company Sinecure & Associates Inc where she served as Vice President for 38 years. Over that 38 year period she tirelessly and successfully helped and guided hundreds of businesses, couples and others in their professional and personal financial lives, always dealing with their situations as if they were her own
Joanmarie met Steven when she moved to Los Angeles California in 1984. They married on March 3, 1985 and lived in Los Angeles until they moved to Baja California Mexico in 1993. Later in 2003 Joanmarie & Steven moved to Spring Texas where they lived until her death.
All of Joanmarie's extended family and friends considered Joanmarie a loving, giving and thoughtful person who always wanted the best for everyone. Her colleagues and clients, thought of her as one of the most talented, trusted and esteemed people in her field and all have expressed that her passing was "before her time" and "an irreplaceable loss". Joanmarie's' sense of humor and honest way of approaching life is what her loved ones and everyone else will miss most.
Her family is holding her funeral service on October 27, 2022, at 2:00PM at the Klein Memorial Park Chapel, 9714 FM 2920 Road, Tomball Texas 77375 and then internment will follow in the Memorial Park Garden of the Angels, Section C.
