Jill passed away on August 19th, 2016. She was born in Ft. Worth where she graduated from the renowned Arlington Heights High School and attended the 2 -year girl's school, Christian College. She then received a degree in Language and History from Duke University.
Jill was ahead of her time in understanding the value of good nutrition and natural health alternatives. Her interests included traveling with her oil consultant husband, Joe Wanamaker, to whom she was happily married for 51 years, her family, teaching yoga, animals, and working with literary programs with Pi Beta Phi, for which she received a national award. She was beautiful, elegant, gracious, witty and fun and she attracted a variety of devoted friends. She will be greatly missed.
Jill is survived by her children: Mark (Suzanne) Wanamaker of Greenwood Village, Colorado and daughter, Amy Wanamaker of Austin, Texas; and grandchildren, Sabrina Wanamaker, Madeline Wanamaker and Chance Wanamaker.
