Joan Marie Pavlu Kennerty of Spring, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 5th, 2025, surrounded by the grace and faith that defined her life. Born on September 14, 1939, in Hallettsville, Texas, Joan lived a life rooted in devotion, family, and purpose.

Her unwavering faith was her compass until her final days. A long-time and beloved member of St. Ignatius Church, Joan was deeply involved in parish life. Her generosity of spirit and warmth helped her form lasting friendships within the community, where she was known not only for her kindness but for her steadfast presence and commitment to others. In her professional life, Joan built a long and accomplished career in the finance industry, serving in various management roles over the years.  She was known for her dedication, reliability, and integrity, qualities that quietly earned the respect of those she worked with.

Joan shared 56 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Reginald Kennerty, who preceded her in death in 2017. Their enduring love was the foundation of a family that brought her immense pride and joy. She is survived by her loving children: Karen Marie Kennerty Pendleton, Sean Patrick Kennerty, Michael Brian Kennerty, her cherished grandchildren Sydney Pendleton, Farrah Kennerty, Isla Kennerty and Coleman Kennerty and great grandchild Bryn Bourgeois. Joan also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her warmth, wisdom, and boundless love.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She was a beacon of faith, grace, and love an irreplaceable presence whose legacy will endure.
