Joan Quinn Hennessey, 78, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 surrounded by her family after having fought a valiant battle against cancer.

She is survived by her loving husband James J. Hennessey, her son Stephen J. Hennessey and his wife Heather of Blackhawk, CA, her daughter Lynne Hennessey and her beloved grandson Joshua Hennessey of The Woodlands, TX, and her sister Dorothy Sullivan and her husband John L. Sullivan of Walpole, MA.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Catherine Quinn of Boston, MA, her sister Eileen Burke of Quincy, MA, and her sister Kathleen Leary of Walpole, MA.

Visitation services will be held Friday, July 15 from 5:30-8:00pm at Klein Funeral Home (16131 Champion Forest Drive, Klein, TX 77379). A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 16 at 11:00am at St. Ignatius Loyola church (7810 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, TX 77379).

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests a memorial contribution in Joan's name be directed to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
