Joalice Stovall Mayo was born in Rockwall, Texas on April 20, 1925, and passed away in Houston, Texas on May 19, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Bob Mayo, and her parents, George and Mary Alice Stovall.

Jo is survived by her four daughters, Janet Mouser and husband Mike, Karen Webster and husband Greg, Linda Pavlicek and husband Henry, and Melanie Thurmond and husband Tom; eleven grandchildren who knew her as "Grammy", Kimberly Bennett and husband Jason, Steven Mouser and wife Amber, Amy Parker and husband Jamie, Jake Pavlicek, Brian Mouser, Karly Chittenden and husband Bryan, Brooke Favorat and husband Craig, Laura Lowe and husband Chris, Lindsay Thurmond, Caleb Webster and wife Alisha, and Luke McDowell and wife Tiffany; twenty four great-grandchildren; and her beloved little dog, Toby.

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Dr., Spring, TX 77379.  A funeral service for Jo will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Klein Funeral Home Champion forest, to be immediately followed by a committal service in Klein Memorial Park FM 2920 in Tomball, TX.
