Jo Anne Stewart Peek, age 68, died at home with her husband by her side, on September 22 after a valiant battle with cancer.  She loved spending time with her family, friends, and bichon "Molly".  She married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Hugh Peek, on November 29, 1969 in their hometown, Floydada, TX.  They enjoyed traveling together, especially on their Harley with their motorcycle group, the "Old Goats"  and entertaining at their lakehouse on Lake Livingston.  "JoJo" was her twin grandsons biggest fan on the sideline, never missing a game, she loved watching them grow, taking them on family vacations, and having them for sleepovers at her home. Jo Anne was a dedicated volunteer for HART, Houston Area Rescue Team, and Poodle Rescue, and was passionate about rescuing and taking care of dogs.

Jo Anne was born on September 1, 1950 in Floydada, TX to L.B. and Verna Lynn Stewart. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Hugh; her son, Brandon Peek and wife, Nicole; her daughter Courtney Synnott and husband Brian; grandsons, Brandon and John Synnott; and, her sister, Juanita Williamson.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 27th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm; and funeral services to Celebrate the life of Jo Anne Peek, will be held on Friday, September 28th at 10:00am; at Klein Funeral Home and Memorial Parks, 1400 West Main Street, Tomball, TX, with Pastor Chad Herold from Second Baptist Church officiating.
