Jo Beth Floyd, an artist, writer, and poet, departed her loving family in serenity on June 29, 2023. She is survived by her adoring husband of 65 years Bill Floyd, her 3 children, Bo (Joyce) Chesney, Jaymi Bertone, and Tracy Floyd, 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was born on February 1, 1933 where she was raised in Peacock, Texas to the late Joe and Erna Matthews. Her life was dedicated to her family and her love of the arts. She was fond of fashion, often making garments, her recipes were often replicated, and her paintings and sketchings embellish many walls. She will be greatly missed by many and her myriad of colorful stories will live on.
